Implants
Implants are rapidly becoming the standard of care for replacing missing teeth. Implants can be used to replace:
- Single missing teeth
- Multiple missing teeth
- Anchors for a removeable denture or to create a permanently fixed denture
They allow the tooth to be replaced without affecting adjacent teeth. Implants have two components, an artifical root that is surgically placed in the bone by an implant specialist, and a restoration which can be a crown, bridge abutment, or denture support, which is placed by Dr. Tripp.
